| Honoring Our Children Project The goal of the project is to reduce American Indian infant morbidity and mortality rates, while eliminating perinatal health disparities in Wisconsin. The model of care is through outreach, education, case management, maternal depression screening and referral, interconceptional care and consortia building. Activities include: Outreach and education, home visits, transporation, phone usage, advocacy, support, Wadiswan Nest incentive program, program advisory committee and local consortia, and tribal and non-tribal agency referrals. ![]() Service Area The Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council provides services to Native Americans in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota. This is our 2010 Leave Behind that we take every year to Washington DC to leave with the Congressmen and Senator’s of Wisconsin. It is an informational booklet about all of the Honoring Our Children Tribal Sites for the 2010 year.
