Honoring Our Children Project
Red Cliff Health Clinic has housed the Honoring Our Children Project since the beginnings of the project in 1998. There have been several different staff in the project since then. Current staff members Rose Gordon and Erin Tenney have been here since 2002 and 2003 respectively.
Rose is the Outreach worker and helps families with getting car seats, providing transportation, coordinating the Nest incentives program, providing advocacy for housing, education or other needs, planning events and doing home visits. She is in the office daily from 8am- 4:30 pm.
Debra Elmore-Nesheim comes to Red Cliff from the Twin Cities area where she worked as a pediatrics nurse in the general medicine and intensive care units at the Univeristy of Minnesota Children's Hospital. She attended nursing school at the University of Minnesota, and is certified as a Public Health Nurse. Debra is happily married, and both she and her husband are artists. They travel to various wellness fairs and teach Therapy through Art. They recently purchased property in the Bayfield area, and now have a dog and 30 apple trees! Debra is enjoying her MCH & PNCC job at the Red Cliff Health Center. She is passionate about the health, education and emotional wellbeing of children and their families.
