The Senior Epidemiologist, Tier III serves as head of a major epidemiology program unit within the Epidemiology Center. Primary responsibilities include overall project management and supervision of specific programs and assigned staff. Performing supervisory and advanced professional analytical work in surveillance, detection, and prevention of diseases and injuries; provide technical assistance to Bemidji Area communities; support evaluation activities of partners; and oversee and perform advanced or specialized professional work. Attendance as scheduled is an essential function of this position. Frequent travel is required to meet the needs of the position. This position is a special assignment, located in an office at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
This is a fulltime exempt position working Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm. The worksite is located at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position, based on skills and experience, has a salary range of $70,000 – $78,000 annually with benefits including Annual Leave, Personal Leave and Holiday Pay;Health, Dental, Life & AD&D, STD and LTD Insurance, FSAand401(k) Retirement Plan.
