Senior Companion Program (SCP)

Once volunteers are approved, they are eligible to receive an hourly tax-free stipend of $4.00/hour for up to 40 hours of volunteering per week.  Reimbursement for gas for volunteer travel with their client is also allowed at $0.585 per mile up to 300 miles every two weeks.  Once a year a volunteer recognition event is held by the FGP/SCP program where there is food, entertainment and volunteer recognition to thank tribal elders for their investment into their communities.
