Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council, Inc. (GLITC)

We request your participation in a two-day summit dedicated to learning more from member Tribes about best practices and current Housing and Economic Development efforts. This event will bring together Tribal Leaders, Housing Directors, Planners, Emergency Managers and other Tribal staff, along with GLITC Staff, State and Federal representatives, and other stakeholders. The summit will be an opportunity to share knowledge; identify community priorities; help promote collaboration on future housing and economic development efforts; and define GLITC’s role to support member Tribes achieve their individual goals. During this summit you will have the opportunity to share best practices, and your success stories. Information gathered during the summit will help inform GLITC’s Strategic Plan and inspire development of key partnerships and collaborations to effectively allocate resources and funding to better support each Tribe with meeting their Housing inventory needs and supporting diverse sustainable Tribal enterprises and Native-owned businesses.

Your voice matters: Your input will directly inform GLITC’s Strategic Plan and define our collective vision to meet the housing needs of Native Americans through all life stages and circumstances, and support Tribal Nations with the creation of robust self-sustaining economies.

Travel: GLITC has reserved a Hotel room block at the Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells for October 29th, 30th & 31st for summit attendees. Travel cost reimbursement is available for eligible attendees.
