Strategic Prevention Framework - Partnership for Success (SPF-PFS)
The Public Health Specialist provides technical assistance, expertise, and consultation on issues of public health, health intervention strategies, and carrying out research and other projects to identify, define, and prevent disability, morbidity, and mortality associated with disease, injury, and related health issues. Working as a team member, under the direction of the Senior Epidemiologist/Program Manager, the Public Health Specialist provides assistance and support to Tribal Nations on important public health matters. Attendance as scheduled is an essential function of this position. Frequent travel is required to meet the needs of the position.
This is a full-time opportunity working Mon-Fri 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM 40 hours per week with a work location in Lac Du Flambeau, WI. Limited travel may be required. This position has a starting rate of $40,000 – $45,000 with benefits including Annual/Personal Leave, Holiday Pay, Health, Dental, Life & AD&D, STD and LTD Insurance, FSA and 401(k) Retirement Plan. Background check and drug screen are required before employment. Due to COVID-19, a period of self-isolation may be required if relocating to the area.
