Elder Benefit Specialist Program (EBS)

We offer information, advice and assistance to tribal elders aged 55 and older throughout the 11 Tribes of Wisconsin related to individual eligibility for, and problems with, public benefits and services and to health care financing, insurance, housing and other financial and consumer concerns.

Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA)

We provide outreach and assistance related to Medicare Savings Programs (MSPs), Part D Extra Help (Low Income Subsidy or LIS), and Medicare preventive benefits

State Health Insurance Programs (SHIP)

We provide outreach and assistance related to Medicare Savings Programs (MSPs), Part D Extra Help (Low Income Subsidy or LIS), and Medicare preventive benefits.

We conduct regular outreach to the public at elder nutrition meal sites, health and resource fairs, in addition to attending the quarterly GLNAEA gatherings, regarding Medicare-related topics, including Medicare enrollment, low-income assistance programs, and preventive services. Annually we conduct public and media outreach activities.

State Pharmaceutical Assistance Program (SPAP)

We provide reliable information for Medicare Part D eligible individuals enrolled in Wisconsin SeniorCare about the prescription drug coverage available through Part D plans, provide technical assistance, phone support and counseling for such enrollees to facilitate selection and enrollment in such plans, along with activities designed to promote the effective coordination of enrollment, coverage and payment between WI SeniorCare, The State Pharmaceutical Assistance Program, and Part D plans.
