WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN
(WIC)Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), is a special supplemental nutrition program for low-income and working families; Services are available for pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women, and children up to the age of five; It is a short term intervention program designed to influence lifetime nutrition and health behaviors for high risk populations; WIC provides quality nutrition, breastfeeding promotion, a monthly food package and access to maternal, prenatal and pediatric health care services.
We offer WIC services throughout the state at tribal clinics, with the exception of Oneida, Menominee and ForestCounty Potawatomi
