The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention Program (SNAP-Ed) Program Director is responsible for the management or overall SNAP-Ed operations including planning, implementing, and evaluating nutrition education in accordance with state policies and federal guidelines. The Director ensures collaboration with tribal agencies and programs to provide nutrition education to low-income residents (targeting FoodShare Wisconsin participants) in a culturally relevant manner. This position collaborates with the WIC Program Director on a regular basis. Daily attendance is an essential job function. Frequent travel is required.
This is a full-time salary/exempt opportunity with a primary worksite of Lac du Flambeau, WI. Requires frequent travel for the purposes of attending community and program related activities. This position has a salary range of $24.70 – $26.75 per hour (based on experience) with benefits including Annual/Personal Leave, Holiday Pay, Health, Dental, Life, STD and LTD Insurance, FSA and 401(k) Retirement Plan. Background check and drug screen are required before employment. Due to COVID-19, a period of self-isolation may be required if relocating to the area.
